Making my own present

I am a Mother’s Day gift idea thief. I stole this idea from Courtney, who stole it from the Crafty Crow. I have never worked with oven-bake clay before, and I found I wasn’t good at controlling the final shape of each necklace, but I like that they are each a bit different. (I also used the squash-clay-with-a-paper-plate instead of the pen-rolling-pin method.) Tea stuck his finger into them so the grandmas and I can wear his fingerprint around our necks. I’m not much of a jewlery person, but Tea got a huge kick out of seeing me wear it. (Yep, I wore it early. My present, my rules.)

Those are so awesome. I want to make one with Hazel’s print but I’m not sure it would show up well at all. I’ll just have to try it.
